Suggested itinerary: 4 days/3 nights.
Day 1 – In the morning – transfer to Arshan village situated in the unique Tunka Valley famous for its mineral springs and called “the Siberian Switzerland”.
The road goes over magnificent mountains covered with the Siberian taiga forest, descends to Baikal lake opening for a while its majestic panorama and then turns to the Valley, edged with high bald peaks of the Tunka mountains in the west and less steep slopes of the Hamar-Daban range in the east (time en route – approximately 4 hours).
Arrival at Arshan, transfer to the hotel, check-in. Lunch.
A walking sightseeing tour of the village, during which you will visit some healing mineral springs, the splendid mountain river Kyngarga and the park of “Arshan” resort with its natural monuments and hear some beautiful local legends.
Return to the hotel. Overnight. (meals incl.: lunch)
Day 2– After breakfast – a walking tour through the forest to the local Datsan – Buddhist church, where the guide will tell you about its history, specific rules of behaviour in Datsans and Buddhism in Buryatia Republic.
Return to Arshan. Lunch.
Walking along the Kyngarga river, which flows through a picturesque ravine squeezed by steep rocks; visit to some of the waterfalls.
Return to the hotel. Overnight. (meals incl.: breakfast, lunch)
Day 3– After breakfast – departure by bus for an excursion to Nilova Pustin village noted for its radon springs. En route – a stop at the Buryat “obo” – a holy place for worshipping local spirits, where you will have a chance to practice the traditional rite of asking for longevity and healthy children.
Lunch at a café (or boxed lunch).
Visit to Zhemchug village for bathing in the thermal springs.
Return to Arshan. Overnight. (meals incl.: breakfast, lunch)
Day 4 – After breakfast – departure for Irkutsk. (meals incl.: breakfast)

Tour price includes:
